An m-cycle system of order ν and index λ, denoted by rn-CS(ν, λ), is a collection of cycles of length m whose edges partition the edges of λκ_v. An m-CS(ν, λ) is α-resolvable if its cycles can be partitioned into classes such that each point of the design occurs in precisely α cycles in each class. The necessary conditions for the existence of such a design are m|λν(ν-1)/2,2|λ(ν-1), m|αν,α|λ(ν-1)/2 It is shown in this paper that these conditions are also sufficient when m = 4.     

An Organocatalytic Asymmetric Tandem Reaction for the Construction of Bicyclic Skeletons

Cyclic ketones react with (E)‐2‐nitroallylic acetates in the presence of catalytic pyrrolidine‐thiourea, which affords bicyclic skeletons with four or five stereocenters in one single reaction with up to 98 % ee in moderate to high yields. The cooperative effects of both enamine and the Brønsted acid are found to be crucial for the high reactivity and enantioselectivity of this cascade reaction, which is demonstrated by both theoretical calculation and experimental data.     

Rapid and efficient synthesis of new chiral aromatic amide molecular tweezers under solvent-free conditions using microwave

An efficient and simple method for the synthesis of new chiral aromatic amide molecular tweezers by irradiation with microwave under solvent-free conditions has been developed.Its main advantages are short reaction times.good conversions and the environmentally friendly nature of the process.     

Riemann‐Hilbert problems and soliton solutions of a multicomponent mKdV system and its reduction

An arbitrary order matrix spectral problem is introduced and its associated multicomponent AKNS integrable hierarchy is constructed. Based on this matrix spectral problem, a kind of Riemann‐Hilbert problems is formulated for a multicomponent mKdV system in the resulting AKNS integrable hierarchy. Through special corresponding Riemann‐Hilbert problems with an identity jump matrix, soliton solutions to the presented multicomponent mKdV system are explicitly worked out. A specific reduction of the multicomponent mKdV system is made, together with its reduced Lax pair and soliton solutions.     

Characteristics of rogue waves on a soliton background in a coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation

In this paper, a coupled nonlinear Schrödinger (CNLS) equation, which can describe evolution of localized waves in a two‐mode nonlinear fiber, is under investigation. By using the Darboux‐dressing transformation, the new localized wave solutions of the equation are well constructed with a detailed derivation. These solutions reveal rogue waves on a soliton background. Moreover, the main characteristics of the solutions are discussed with some graphics. Our results would be of much importance in predicting and enriching rogue wave phenomena in nonlinear wave fields.     

Effect of SDBS on interfacial electron transfer at the liquid/liquid interface by thin layer method

The effect of an adsorbed anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS) on electron transfer(ET) reaction between ferricyanide aqueous solution and decamethylferrocene(DMFc) located on the adjacent organic phase was investigated for the first time by thin layer method.The adsorption of SDBS at the interface resulted in a decay in the cathodic plateau current of bimolecular reaction with increasing concentrations of SDBS in aqueous phase.However,the rate constant of electron transfer(k_(et)) i...     

联二烯丁基硫醚衍生物合成呋喃的反应

本文报道以联二烯丁基硫醚为起始物的呋喃衍生物的合成方法.实验结果表明,β-联二烯丁基硫醚醇在氢化钠的作用下以很高的收率环化生成一个苯硫基离去的呋喃产物,β-联二烯丁基硫醚醛与外加亲核试剂作用后能得到多一个取代的类似呋喃产物,而β-联二烯丁基硫醚酮在P2O5的促进下也能环化生成呋喃衍生物.     

An improved model for multistage simulation of glycerol fermentation in batch culture and its parameter identification

The bioconversion of glycerol to 1,3-propanediol is a complex bioprocess. In this study, we aim to explore a novel model for describing the multistage cell growth in batch culture. This is achieved by a modification at the specific rate of cell growth in consideration of its time-dependent changes. The existence, uniqueness and boundedness of solutions to the system and the continuity of solutions with respect to the parameters are discussed. In addition, a parameter identification problem of the system is developed and a feasible optimization algorithm is constructed to solve it. Numerical result shows that the improved model could describe the batch culture well.     

A singlet state prepared with resonant interaction via trapped ions

A simple scheme for the generation of the three-qutrit Λ-type singlet state with resonant interaction via trapped ions is proposed. In the present proposal, the required interaction time is very short due to resonant interaction. The present proposal may be realized based on the current technologies. We also note that the three-ion three-level maximally entangled state can be generated via resonant interaction in one step.
